Class Descriptions

Land Classes

  • Cardio Barre. Cardio Barre is a unique, high energy/no impact exercise class that combines barre work and lightweights with continual fat burning motion. You will work on balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.
  • Cardio Defense. Torch calories while toning your muscles with this class that provides an intense mix of martial arts moves and high intensity cardio training exercises to push you to your limits! Demonstrations for high and low intensity will be provided.
  • Chair Yoga. This yoga class is designed for active adults that may need a little more support. You'll be guided through postures in a Vinyasa style, beginning with basic poses. More challenging poses will be introduced based on your practice level. Props are encouraged to allow the body to comfortably achieve each pose.
  • Core Flow. This flow class will help you find the support and strength of your deep core muscles in every movement. It will focus on strengthening not only the abdominal muscles, but also the muscles deep in the body that support the spine which allows for powerful alignment awareness. Each class will incorporate traditional abdominal work, asana (postures) and breath work - all with an emphasis on developing the power that lies at the core center of the body.
  • Cycle + Strength. This cycle-fusion class starts on the bike for approximately 45 minutes of high energy cardio that scorches calories. The last 15 minutes is off the bike with a combination of weights, resistance bands, and/or mat work for upper body and core strength.
  • Cycore. Try this 60-minute class that gives you double duty! Participants will start off with 45 minutes of cycling and finish off with 15 minutes of core training.
  • Dynamic Strength. From toning to muscle building, this all-level strength and conditioning class combines a variety of body-weight exercises and weighted movements for a DYNAMIC full-body workout!
  • Gentle Joints. This Arthritis Foundation Exercise class is designed specifically for individuals with arthritis. Gentle, low-impact activities help you maintain overall muscle strength and improve joint flexibility and range of motion.
  • Gentle Yoga. This class is appropriate for all levels including beginning students, those recovering from illness or injury, seniors and for women who are pregnant. This practice consists of gentle standing, seated, and reclined poses designed to gently stretch the skeletal muscles and deeply relax the nervous system.
  • Mat Pilates. Try this class which improves strength, flexibility and coordination, concentrating on the body's core.
  • Morning Yoga. A yoga class that focuses on alignment, setting an intention, becoming aware of your breath and exploring your chakras (seven energy centers). Essential oils and hands-on assists will also be incorporated leaving you relaxed and balanced.
  • PiYO. This total body fitness program combines the practices of Pilates and Yoga, along with components of dance and martial arts to help you build strength, lose weight and increase flexibility - all in a fun and upbeat atmosphere!
  • Power Pedal. Intervals, sprints, climbs, runs, surges, jumps and more, all to music hand-picked to motivate and inspire you! Come join this 45-minute cycle class if you want to burn calories and increase your endurance. It's a ride for everyone!
  • Power Yoga. This invigorating, fast paced practice consists of a dynamic flow designed to get your heart pumping, build strength, endurance and flexibility. This class will contain a variety of standing, balancing, backbending and hip opening postures that will challenge both your body and mind.
  • Raise the Bar. A barbell strength class stronger than your excuses! This workout will challenge all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. YOUR choice of weight will inspire you to get the results you want!
  • Rise & Ride. Start your day off right with this high energy cycling class! It will include many different formats such as strength, endurance, intervals and more! You will get a fantastic workout that will prepare you to take on the rest of your day!
  • S.C.Y. A fresh blend of 3 different workouts! Start off with 20 minutes of Strength, followed by 20 minutes of Cycling, and finish with 20 minutes of Yoga.
  • Slow Flow Yoga. Enjoy the unity of movement, breath and energy that allows our nervous system to relax our muscles and allows our mind to slow.
  • Steady Strides. This class will focus on improving balance and coordination in order to lower the risk of falls. Multiple modes of exercise are utilized, including strength, flexibility, and agility. This is done in a fun and entertaining environment while providing an education in fall prevention (Prescreening by a Wellness Coach is recommended prior to attending this class).
  • Strength Fusion. This class combines strength and cardio moves in a high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T.) format. Get in shape STAT with this workout!
  • Sunrise Yoga. Wake up with the SUN! Start your morning ritual with Sunrise Yoga. This all-levels class is designed to integrate your breath and movement, wake up your body and stimulate your mind to leave you energized for the rest of your day.
  • Tabata Conditioning. High Intensity Interval Training that includes Tabata work and recovery rounds consisting of strength or core based moves. If you want to build your endurance and get a lot of bang for your workout buck, this is the class for you!
  • Total Body Strength. A strength and toning workout for the entire body using a variety of resistance equipment.
  • Vinyasa Flow. In this class, participants will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. The class will awaken your strength, energy, and flexibility.
  • Yin Flow. This practice is a perfect combination of movement and stillness. This class features both an active flow and rejuvenating yin postures that will leave your body, mind and soul feeling energized, strong and relaxed. Instruction is detailed and modifications are plentiful, making it a great class for beginners or anyone looking to enhance their yoga practice.
  • Yoga for Flexibility. A slow paced practice designed to increase flexibility through poses that apply moderate pressure on the connective tissues of the body. Poses will be held for several minutes, allowing the body and mind to completely surrender into stillness.
  • Yoga for Relaxation. A gentle, healing practice that allows the body to open at it's own pace. Restorative poses will be held for several minutes without effort or force by using a variety of props. This allows the body and mind to find complete stillness and peace.
  • Yoga + Meditation. Our yoga + meditation class is a great place to learn how to let go of the stress and tension that creates pain and irritation in the body and mind. The class also increases your flexibility and focus as well. This class combines gentle supported postures with mindfulness meditation, a deeply relaxing state of mind is created.
  • Yoga Sculpt. Stengthen, tone, and stretch in this 60-minute full body yoga class. It is a fitness-based approach to Vinyasa style flow with the use of free weights to complement your regular yoga practice. Participants will focus on linking conscious breath with mindful flow while increasing strength.
  • Zumba. This Latin-inspired aerobic fitness program combines high energy dance moves with motivating music from all around the world. NO dance experience required!

Aquatics Classes

  • Aqua Barre. Combines the formats of aqua exercise with traditional barre, ballet-inspired movements.
  • Aqua Blast. Churn up the white water in this challenging, yet fun shallow water workout. Cardio, strength, flexibility - this class has it all! Maximize your training efforts against the resisted properties of the water and enjoy an exercise session that lessens the impact on your joints.
  • Aqua Circuit. If you are looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise class to your fitness routine then Aqua Circuit is for you! Moving quickly from one exercise to the next, this class gives you a perfect combination of fun and fitness combined with the added benefits of water resistance.
  • Aqua H.I.I.T. This interval class is a total body class involving brief bursts of high-intensity work followed by a recovery period. Increase your strength and cardiovascular endurance while experiencing the benefit of water lessening the impact on your joints.
  • Deep Water Power. Increase your core strength while performing exercises in deep water such as jogging and skiing. All participants will use a floatation belt that will allow freedom of movement through the water without touching or standing on the pool bottom.
  • Jogua. Get some stress off your joints by taking your jogging inside! This class incorporates jogging at your own pace with the water providing excellent resistance to scorch calories! Conclude the class with a great abdominal routine and stretch session.
  • Senior Fit. A fun, energetic class that follows the Arthritis Foundation guidelines and focuses on joint movement and light cardio. This class is held in the warm-water therapy pool.
  • Tread & Shed. Strengthen your core and lower body with this fast paced class! By alternating between the deep and shallow areas of the pool, you will maximize the benefits of strength and conditioning in the water.
