Class Descriptions

Land Exercise Classes

20/20/20
Are you bored with the same song and dance? This class will push you through with a combination of 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength and 20 minutes of yoga.

Arthritis Foundation Land Class (AFLC)
Take control of your arthritis with exercise. This class includes range of motion, muscle strengthening and/or endurance exercises, body mechanics lectures and relaxation techniques. The routines can be quickly learned to easily practice at home.

Advanced Strength
This class will teach you the basic fundamentals of strength training. Be prepared to work hard and sweat a lot. A variety of equipment will be used.

Advanced Yoga
Various yoga postures with more advanced movements. A mixture of strength and stretch poses will be introduced in this class. Some experience required.

Butts & Guts
Three cheers for your rear! This class will incorporate lower body & core exercises to whittle your middle and strengthen your glutes. Stability balls, BOSU balls, weights and resistance bands may be utilized.

Cardio Kick
Are you bored with the same song and dance? Let's get ready to blast through your plateau in an exciting class combining cardio intervals and kick boxing movements.

Cardio Step
Are you bored with the same song and dance? Let’s get ready to blast through your plateau in an exciting class of just pure step!

CORE AND MORE
Quick and efficient way to strengthen abs and core.

Cycle 30/45/60
Visual imagery guides you through a challenging stationary cycling class.

Cycle Strength
This high intensity class will combine cycling with intermittent strength intervals. Get ready for your muscles to burn!

F.O.R. (Fitness on Request) Cardio
This class is designed to change frequently. It will keep you guessing and give your body a change. Class varieties will include: Cardio, Step Madness, Hi-Lo and Hip-Hop step.

Gentle Cycle
This class is designed as an introductory class for those individuals who are new to cycling.

Gentle Stretch
Stretching from head to toe, while seated in a chair. Leave feeling refreshed and open.

Gentle Yoga
This class is designed as an introductory class for those individuals who are new to yoga. Chairs are optional for assistance.

Group Power
Your hour of power! A choreographed barbell program strengthening all of your major muscles.

Hi-Lo 35
Easy to follow steps that are low impact with options for higher intensity. This class will provide great choreography and keep you moving.

H.I.I.T. It!
Train like the athletes and fire up your workout program with High Intensity Interval Training! We will alternate high intensity cardio and strength intervals with short rest intervals for a full-body calorie- crushing workout.

Intermediate Yoga
Integrate the mind and body through movements that will increase flexibility, strength and well being. This class is appropriate for both Gentle Yoga and Yoga participants.

15 Minute Abs
Quick and efficient way to strengthen abs and core.

Light and Tones
Basic interval workout with segments of toning and light cardio. Bands, exercise balls and weights are utilized during this class.

More Core
Take the core challenge! Slow and controlled abdominal movements target the upper and lower abs along with the obliques.

Muscle Drills
Challenge yourself with total body strength exercises and short cardio segments. Get up and get fit!

Muscle Mix
This muscle mix will take you to the next level by incorporating lower and upper body strength moves. A variety of equipment may be used.

Pilates
A variety of conditioning movements will help strengthen and stretch your core, creating a long lean look.

Power Step
Join the fun with this high impact step class. Not recommended for the beginner. Be ready to sweat!

Senior Core
This class provides you with safe movements to efficiently work the core.

Senior Fit
A fun, energetic class that follows the Arthritis Foundation guidelines and focuses on joint movement and light cardio. Available in both pools.

Senior Hi-Lo
Basic interval workout with segments of toning and light cardio. Various equipment will be used during class.

Sports Circuit
This fast-paced cardio challenge provides you with a variety of sports drills to keep you on top of your game! This class will also include some strength segments.

Step
A step class with creative choreography at a high intensity. Designed to get your heart rate up and keep it at a steady pace for the duration of the class.

Step and Sculpt
This class will give you cardio conditioning on the step and sculpting with a variety of free weight exercises and core stability training.

Strength Callenge
A multi-joint super workout! This strength class works your entire body effectively and efficiently.

Total Conditioning / Conditioning 35
This class combines full-body resistance training with interval cardio training. This intense circuit workout uses a variety of equipment and cardio exercises for an efficient, calorie boosting workout.

Yoga
Integrate the mind and body through movement, to increase flexibility, strength

Yoga Sculpt
A combination of yoga inspired movements and innovative resistance exercises using familiar yoga poses and small hand weights. This class builds strength, stamina and flexibility.

Yogalates
An upbeat class that fuses the slow controlled breathing and stretching of yoga with the core tightening and strengthening of Pilates.

Zumba®
Add some spice and flare to your workout! This Latin-infused class combines high energy and motivating music, with unique movements and combinations. Come dance your worries away! No dance experience is required.

Zumba® Gold
An easier version of Zumba® Fitness that is suitable for all fitness levels. Great choice for seniors and beginners, or anyone that that prefers a lower intensity, lower impact workout. Great fun, good cardio. Join the party!

Zumba® Toning
This class blends body sculpting techniques and specific Zumba® moves into one calorie-burning, strength-training class. You'll learn how to use weighted, maraca-like Zumba® Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone all the target zones.

Aquatic Exercise Classes

AAA (Active Aquatic Adults)
Stay active at any age with light cardio and basic strength and flexibility. Available in both pools.

Aqua Challenge
This class targets all aspects of fitness through movement in the water. The first 45 minutes will combine creative cardiovascular and strength movements, finishing with a combination of balance and relaxation sequences through yoga.

Aqua Fit
Get ready for this high-energy class which utilizes dynamic sports movements to motivate you! Held in lap pool.

Aqua Zumba®
This class is the "pool party" workout for all ages. It will combine challenging water-based movements with Latin infused dance moves to create a class full of calorie burning and muscle toning.

Senior Fit
A fun, energetic class that follows the Arthritis Foundation guidelines and focuses on joint movement and light cardio. Available in both pools.

Yogua
Get ready for this high energy water Jogging/yoga class in the water. Class will begin with an intense jogging workout and will close with a relaxed yet challenging yoga workout.
